We are both too tired to write. Even our sleep scores from last night tell the story.
While
was in DC to testify to a group including Secretary Kennedy himself, someone gave our Food Is Health Substack a shout out and when he inquired about how many people helped us write “all of the content” he looked in disbelief when Carter replied “it’s just Ellen and I”. He inquired “how?” and Carter replied the only way either of us ever can, “I don’t know, we just do.”And after hitting submit on the second of the two RFI responses at 11:55pm I was greeted the following morning with a friendly text from
Kiker, who provided meaningful content for one of the RFI responses, “did you ever go to sleep?”.Tack on that Carter was in DC and is traveling home.
And in my house we were celebrating an 80th birthday and Oreos designated for the birthday cake went missing - the screenshot of the discovery is priceless. And yes that is our family group text.
And so when Carter and I convened telephonically in the midst of it all to discuss what to write we decided to throw in the towel…
And check our sleep scores for reinforcement of what we suspected. (Carter even has a good story about an OURA ring dinner party conversation from the weekend…)
We are simply too tired to write.
Sometimes you have to practice what you preach about not just metabolic health but lifestyle and that pesky sleep pillar clearly needs some attention for us both.
This is so great. Thanks for all that work and thanks for letting me help a little!!
Great job to you both! And happy 80th to Ellen's dad....No comment on the Oreos.
